Garden Management

Garden management is a tailored service to meet the needs and requirements of your garden, a bespoke programme that takes into account your entire garden and what you expect from Country Park Landscapes.

Our commitment to customer service ensures the same team will be you every visit*, this enables us to develop a knowledge of the garden and build a fundamental relationship with you, the client. We will develop our relationship with you, carry out your requirements but also offer and suggest ideas of work we feel is needed in the garden each visit. At the end of each visit the senior operative will put down recommendations they feel are appropriate or work that has been requested for the next visit or later in the season.

We aim to ensure every aspect of your garden is nurtured and maintained to the highest standards of horticultural practices with our care and attention to detail.

We offer individually crafted Garden Management Programmes to suit all requirements, from one off services to regular weekly, monthly and yearly programs. We will determine the type of service you require, we then create a programme and contract to facilitate your needs, please see the example below.

Frequency of visit : Once a week from March to October inclusive, thereafter once every two weeks until March 19th 2010.

Programme includes

• Grass cutting every week, unless sated
• Formal mowing in areas as agreed
• Hover mowing of banks
• Rough cut / mulching paths through orchard
• Strim around all trees and fence lines as required, at least once every two weeks
• Roadside verge
• Orchard once every three weeks after spring flowers have gone over, June - October

Borders and plant management

• Edge all borders after mowing and collect
• Working systematically through the borders weeding and hoeing
• Dead head roses each visit during flowering periods and spray for blackspot, rust and aphids
• Prune hardwood shrubs as required
• Cut back herbaceous planting as needed
• Apply mulch / soil conditioners December – Jan
• Feed twice a year
• Aerate where required to relief compaction

Conciliatory services

• Herbicide treatments to all hard standing areas, path ways fence lines and driveways
• Raking gravels
• Hedge & topiary cutting
• Lawn care three times a year as described
• Moss treatments on all hard surfaces and the tennis court
• Jet wash brick paths every two years
• Recycle or burn waste generated (recycle programme attached)

This is a tailored service prepared for an individual garden; every garden will be looked at and evaluated.
