Prior to seeding, after drainage works or ground works have been completed, the ground will need preparing for planting, seeding or turfing. Whether these areas are small or large we are able to provide the equipment necessary to complete the work to a high standard and cost effectively.
Stumps are removed through a variety of methods including stump grinding or removed with the use of a digger, the stumps can either be taken away, buried or in some cases replanted elsewhere - depending on the type of tree and the time of year.
This unique piece of equipment can be used to prepare a fine seed bed by burying stones and other matter in a one pass operation –subject to ground conditions.
Rotovating small or large areas are necessary when the ground is compacted, when we need to blend organic matter or drainage materials such as beach and grit.
Once the soils have either been rotovated or stone buried the soil may require levelling and grading. This type of operation is carried out using a tractor mounted lute which grades and finishes the soil in final preparation for seeding, turfing or planting.
After the ground preparation is completed you may wish to seed or are ready for the Design process.
