If you have paddocks, fields or large areas that may require seeding, we have the equipment and experience to undertake such operations.

Wild meadow seeding

  • Wild meadows require a certain amount of preparation and maintenance, the mixture of wild flowers is also dependant on the soil type and structures of the soil. Ideally wild meadows flourish in poor ground, with no feeding. As grass breaks down it releases Nitrogen back into the soil, therefore the existing area of grass would need to be cut and collected on a regular basis prior to seeding. The meadow will also require cutting and collecting from August through to September. Grants are available for wild meadows and further information can be obtained from either info@countryparklandscapes.co.uk or High Weald AONB at www.highweald.org

Grass seeding

  • Our grass seed ranges are available in a variety of mixtures including hard wearing Rye grasses, Creeping Fescues, Long Stem Smooth Stalked Meadow grasses and Bent. Large numbers of blends are available from British seed houses or specialist blends can be created for unique seeding solutions.

We are able to carry out the following seed operations

  • Wild meadow seeding

  • Over seeding to patch up bare or sparse areas of grass
  • Paddock seeding
  • Lawn seeding
  • Sports field seeding
