Walling

There are many materials available for wall construction, which can be designed and integrated into any garden, a few examples are listed below.

Paths

The materials available for paths are also wide and varied, including soft surfaces, gravels and solid materials. These materials can be laid in a variety of ways, creating intricate patterns, formal styles and simple techniques. Examples of a few of the materials available are listed below.

  • New and reclaimed Bricks
  • Paving, both natural, reclaimed and manufactured
  • Cobbles and Sets
  • Self binding gravels
  • Gravels
  • Woodland chips
  • Barks

Brick paths can be laid in patterns such as basket weave, herringbone or running bond.

Paving can be laid using methods such as unregulated blocks, crazy, formal lines and regulated blocks.

Cobbles and Sets can be used throughout paths and driveways but also make excellent compliments to gravel and create frames to less formal paths.

Self binding gravels make exceptional informal paths through gardens, woodlands, vegetable gardens and areas where a hard free draining surface is required for a long expanse of walkways.

Gravels come in a variety of styles and colours, which are first-rate for driveways, long runs of paths or as a decorative enhancement for gardens and landscapes.

Woodland chip and barks make fine paths through woodlands, large expanses of grassland and are an inexpensive path material.

Terraces & Paving

Terrace paving is available in a range of products that can compliment any garden and home, whether you have a small area or a wide expanse to consider there is an abundance of styles and materials to choose from, including.

These are just a few of the materials available, in some instances a mixture can be used such as reclaimed brick and reclaimed York stone, the possibilities are infinite.
